I have recently had alarm issues. When i get in and put in the key the car locks the doors turns on the A/C and truns on the alarm. I cant get my key out untill it stoips about 15min later. Then all is well. I have tried both of my keys. Whats the deal, why does my car attack me like this?

 

ok it did it again today. It locked me in for 15min with the AC turned all the way up. The thing is that the temp outside was -5 degrees and the car turned the AC on and disabeled all controlls. Anyone have this problem?

 

When the alarm sets off, can you disable it with the remote?

Nope the remote goes dead. It is a 2000 with about 80k miles.
