Brakepads
Exhaust system

Do you have the capacity to do any of this yourself?

I don't know the hours but speculate that brakes they'll want to charge for 1.5-2, exhaust depends on what you're talking about but that can be spendy and A/C compressor is another 2 or 3, since it's a vacuum system that they'll have to evacuate and recharge.

I would say that if you have the capacity - try to do the brakes yourself.

hate to answer my own questions, but just got the AC overhauled. compressor, dryer, belts, oils, freon the whole deal at $600 with 1 year parts and labor guarantee.

For those just getting it on with a second hand RL, I could share

patched up the muffler for $80.
timing belt, water pump, all belts replaced at $750
flush of fluids: motor oil, trans oil, antifreeze, brake fluid . using Honda liquids $200
Rear shocks, and tightening all bolts bushings in suspension, $350

The 03 is running super tight, like "new" . Previous owner kept it maintained at the Dealer. I picked this ride up to use as an Ultra reliable "beater" and have lucked out. Good Buy!

The only 2 things to make it perfect would be a mp3 hook up and replacing the aged windshield. Its pitted from 202000 miles of freeway driving.

Hey man, just a comment on the aux input. Is your car non nav? Then I have a iSimple kit to run an aux to the cd changer port on the rear of the radio I can part with because I just purchased an aftermarket radio. Let me know!
