Remanufactured Calipers

What is the best remanufactured caliper to use? Most remanufacturers use the genuine Nissin (Acura OEM) caliper casting (core) to rebuild the entire caliper; but many, if not all, are being refinished by removing functional aspects of the original caliper core. For instance, I just bought a NAPA caliper and found that the flat flanges that hold the threaded portion of the pins in place are being grinded-off by the mfr when refinishing the surface. Thus, when tightening the caliper bolts, each pin continuously spins. Is this common place is the remanufacturing process? Or are there brands that retain all the features (form and function) of the OEM? or is it best to just pay the 3X cost for OEM from Acura?
