Is it possible to replace a driver side interior handle with this part?

Can I replace this part of the interior handle with only what I got from a scrap yard or do I need to order the entire interior unit?

Here is the interior broken handle and the replacement part I found, but its only from the back rear. Do I need the entire front handle unit or can I just somehow replace the handle itself in that unit

if there was a way that you could separate the halves, then yes you could replace just the handle...

however, looking at it....there doesnt seem to be a way to separate the halves to get to the handle without breaking the casing.

if you put in the rear case into the drivers side spot, there will be a huge hole or void for the lock button.

it would just be easier to locate or buy the correct housing handle.

Do you know the best sites to look into this or getting the right part?

just curious; how do you open the door? roll the window down and open it from the outside?

The grooves of the broken handle still "fit" so I can just pivot into the door

if you cant locate the drivers side door handle, then I would use the rear door handle that you bought and just live with the hole where the lock button is
