So I opened up my CD player today because it stopped working a few weeks ago. Originally I thought it may have been related to my leaky tail light but I couldn't find any damage on the board. The only other issue I could think of was it had a dirty laser so I tried wiping down the lens with a q-tip and rubbing alcohol and to my surprise it actually worked! But what really struck my interest was this little board:



This board is what connects the 8 Pin adapter and converts it into a flat 12 pin connector. I took the time to trace each wire and figure out which ended at which pin and this is the diagram I came up with:



Basically could these wires be connected to the corresponding wires on the AUX port adapter for non nav vehicles? If so does anyone have the adapter from here: https://acurazine.com/forums/1g-rl-1996-2004-77/diy-installing-auxiliary-input-774144/

And be willing to test to see which wire corresponds to which in the change from the circle plug to square plug on the adapter? Or open it and post photos of the board inside?

Does anyone have ideas or see an error in something I said?
