Pics of smooshed KA9's....
There was an article I saw today about a car (that happened to be a KA9) that was involved in a chase and subsequently flipped over in front of Baltimore City Hall. I was curious in the fact that I don't see too many accidents that involve these cars, and a Google search doesn't bring up that much. Due to the fact that I like to study post-accident pics to see what survived and what didn't (I know i'm weird ), I was wondering if anyone happened to have any of these.
btw, here's the link tot the article, a slideshow is at the bottom. It's interesting to see how the drivers side fared much better then the passenger side...

And some more: (In this case, the passenger side fared better then the drivers side for obvious reasons)

Funny story with that though. Mostly everything from the wrecked car was fine except the dash and the two interior panels on the side that got hit. So I took everything out and put it in the replacement vehicle that had a not-so-great interior.

Sad sad....what kind of car hit you and how fast do you know?

This is what hit me. Incidentally, it was another Acura.
My dad and I actually made up a whole accident report. We calculated (with physics) that they were going approximately 65 mph in a 45 zone, which is consistent with the damage. Funny how it still ended up being my fault, says the insurance company. Funny how I was driving alone and the radio wasn't on and there were two housekeepers driving their employers car probably talking and it was still my fault, says the insurance company. Funny how they were several hundred feet away when I started my turn.

Wow, thats crazy, the RDX doesn't look too bad but getting hit at 65 mph the RL looks damn good as well. Were you hurt at all? How did that feel sheesh

Yeah, I was fine. I was driving by myself. But it really makes me fall in love with the car even more, actually. I walked away without a scratch or anything. 5 star safety!
Too bad my car gave it's life to save mine!!

That's what a good car should do for its master lol.
Does anyone know if the weird side airbags we have really protect anything? From what i've seen, there more like airbags for arms lol

Yea, I trust my car a lot more than many on the road today. Seems like a lot of people have been dying in Ford Fusion accidents (at least around my way)....
