Overheating and/or ac problem 2004 RL
I have a 2004 RL with 92K miles on it. When the temp outside is over 90 degrees and I am in stop and go conditions, the car runs warm - (3/4 of the gauge instead of below the half way point as is normal) and the a/c blows warm. I have no probelms when freeway driving or when I drive the car early in the morning and the outside temp is cool. I searched a bunch of the threads and could not find anything. Has anybody faced this problem? Thanks.

Could be many things. First think I would check would be the thermostat. Since you mentioned the a/c blows warm in stop and go, it also can be the cooling fan. Most cars have two. One should come on(maybe both) as soon as you turn the a/c on. I think that is what the problem is, now that I think about it.
