New owner of a 03 RL.....navigation question(s)
Hey everyone, ive just bought a 03 RL and I am havng problems with the DVDrom that came with the car ( Black Disc version 2.05B). I've tried everything that the manual asked you to do but I get the same message:
Error reading DVDrom, Incorrect Disc.
Does anyone know what I am doing wrong??? Is there a way to reboot the navigation system? I have all the pin numbers if I have to. I was going thru the other thread in this forum and I saw something about press three buttons on the navi unit to bring up a setup screen. Is that possible on my RL?
Any assistance on my questions is greatly appreciated!
Oh by the way, the rest of the car is excellent!!!!

My info says it should be a black disc version 2.05. Don't know about the 'b' part. If you have the codes you can always unplug your battery and leave it that way for 30 minutes then reconnect it all. Of course, clean your disc and the DVD drive itself. If all that fails you may have a hardware issue or a bad disc. Only a trip to the dealer will help.

CL6,
Thank you for your advice. I was thinking to unplug the battery to reboot everything since I have all my codes, but wasnt to sure of it. I now have 2 discs a 2.05 and 2.03. I will try the 2.05 first and if that fails, I will try the 2.03. I hope the dealer is my last resort...lol
