I am planning on replacing the radiator cap on my 99RL. The radiator is OEM. Was wondering what brand is well suited for the RL. There are many brands out there – Stant, Gates, etc. What brand would you recommend and what psi? Thanks.

 

My rad cap was shot at 160K and I just bought a replacement at Autozone. It had been more then a year now and it is still holding just fine. Any brand will work just make, sure it is made for the car and not the cheap one lol. I think I got the 1.1 bar, I'm not sure too lazy to check

 

Thanks. The ones I'm seeing are 16lbs. It looks like 1.1 bar is 15.95415118 pound per square inches. Which is essentially 16 lbs.
