Lights won't turn off.

So has anyone expierenced this? When I turn my lights off, the headlights stay on. They won't turn off unless I have the switch to off and start the car again. Anyone have any ideas?

I know my former 1G was a Canadian RL, and you would have to manually turn the light switch off. Never had an auto feature or tied into the door.

When the headlight switch is in auto mode, the headlights stay on (after turning the car off) until you open the drivers door. Maybe it's the same in manual operation mode of the headlight switch
