I'm not sure my radiator fans are working right. The temp creeps up in traffic with the AC on and sometimes with it off. Also, the fans don't stay on when I turn off the car.

Mine never goes past about a third no matter what I'm doing. Last time it did my coolant was almost all gone and I had air in the cooling system, so Id first check your coolant levels, then run your car with the AC on and off with the hood open and visually inspect the fans to see if theyre functioning properly.

Yep, get a coolant flush and likely a new thermostat as well just to be safe.

Mine sits like 1/3, no matter what, these engines are very bulletproof.

The fans don't run once you shut the car off.
My gauge points to the middle of the "D" in "D3" normally. Never much higher.
I had to replace my radiator last winter because it started to come apart where the plastic and aluminum clamp together. Did the thermostat & hoses too. It did just fine in stop & go at 100* last month.
