I'm a new owner of 2000 RL here. My name is dave and i'm an Acuraholic!

Anyways, I seem to be experiencing same problems as anyone else...noticed that my SRS light just went on, oh and get ready for this shocker which i'm surprised no one mentioned on this board, it's a gas guzzler!

yeap, she sure likes to suck and swallow! YOWZA! Normally, that's a good thing in my book but.....

I recently purchased this beauty from a used car dealership and they only gave me one black key along with one remote alarm. I was reading the manuals and noticed that originally, it comes with 2 black keys, 1 grey key and 1 red key? YIKES! my questions are as follows:

Do I really need the grey and the red keys?

I'd like another spare Black key and remote alarm, cost? where is the best place to purchse? I'd go back to the dealer but i know those bastards are gonna just laugh at me, I know better. (should have caught this before i signed the papers but I've not had to purchase a car in years!)

Also, when you close the sunroof instead of closing all the way, it always stops at halfway point and I have to close it again. I'm assuming this is normal?

I've searched this forum and read up on it but maybe I'd get some fresh new perspectives on the type of gas to use 87, 91 or 93?

 

yes it's normal for the sunroof to close 1/2 way then hit it again to close the rest of the way.i have an extra remote that i have never used.i will sell it for $20 with the programming instructions and will charge only $2 to ship to you.you can hit me at jnorris2@tampabay.rr.com if interested.
