Help/Recommendations for Aftermarket Stereo 2002 RL with OEM Navigation

Hello all, first time poster here.

I just purchased the 2002 RL with navigation a few months prior, and absolutely love it. However, I love my own collection of music on my phone and would love to play it over the Bose speakers in the car. So I decided to go look for an aftermarket stereo with Bluetooth and Aux capabilities. This is my first car ever, and I haven't had experience tinkering with a car either, but I'm eager to learn. I thought I did my research and ordered for a system to be installed by Best Buy, and as it was pointed out by the mechanic when I turned up, that the dash kit for the regular 2002 RL, which they had in stock would not work for one with the OEM nav. He didn't have any other recommendations to work around this either, saying that the car is too 'exotic' and so I turn to help from the AZ forum.

What I need help with: Choosing the right parts to install an aftermarket stereo(w/ Bluetooth and aux), or at the very least, an Aux input. The nav module isn't important to me as it does not work. Where might I begin to look? What would I be looking for parts wise? What difficulties stand in the way of installing it.

Any help is appreciated. Thanks a lot
