Help, please

So I took my 1998 acura rl to autozone and had an OBD scan performed due to my check engine light. One of the codes read P014, bank 1 sensor 2; I'm trying to find the replacement part, but the problem I have is I don't know what go get. Is the o2 sensor I need to replace after the cat? or before? Downstream or upstream? Looking for an exact fit and what is a trusted brand? Any help would be appreciated.

I also bought new plugs due to other codes saying cylinder 1 and 2 were misfiring. Does anyone know what type of wiring i should get for the plugs?

I'm pretty sure P014 is the one that basically means your EGR port in the engine block is clogged with carbon. Flow has been sufficiently reduced to the point where it gives a code.

I used to have a link on how to clean it, but can't find it.

edit: actually, that might have been P401 or something else. So I might be wrong.

What were all the other codes? Are there any symptoms?

The engine light has been on for awhile so symptoms wise I don't really know because I was so used to the car being like that since its how i received it. I know the cylinder misfiring was recent but the codes were P0141, P1201, P1202 on my 98 acura rl 3.5L v6

I'm not sure P0141 belongs to which O2 sensor, i have to double check it with the PDF manual. For the spark plugs, just change it and see what happen. Our car only use ignition coil to fire the spark plugs.

okay thank you! If you could figure out where that o2 is located that would be great. I'll keep researching and see if I can find it

There is one on each exhaust header as well as one before and after the cat.

I searched for the code and it said the O2 after the Cat. I'm not sure, you might want to double check before buying any O2 sensors. I also replaced the O2 after the cat too, i bought it for $100.

Yes it's the 1 after that cat. just pull the passenger seat forward and lift carpet to unhook the cable/wire to the sensor drop that down/push thru the rubber fitting hole... then jack car u will see the cable hanging and u will need a sensor socket to remove 02 sensor,u will also have a lil bracket holding some of the cable(remove that) but its not that hard to change the part, from what i have read that seems to be a common part/sensor that goes bad... I had the same code pop up get a Denso 02 sensor they go for around $90-110 on ebay... Hope this helps

My notes show the following for the codes:

1201 - Injector Circuit Open / Shorted - Cylinder #1
1202 - Injector Circuit Open / Shorted - Cylinder #2
0141 - O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction (Bank 1 Sensor 2)
