Help! Brights indicator stays on!

Recently i had an issue with one of the wires coming loose on my headlight bulb connector so i picked up a new one at a local auto parts store. I got it swapped out pretty easy but afterwards anytime i have my headlights on (high beams or low beams) the high beams Indicator stays on and can't seem to find anything wrong

Sound like you switched the + with the - on the headlight socket. The headlights will still work, but it will likely cause the problem you are having. Is that possible you switched it?

that is a possibility. When i first looked i didnt know which wires were which, i then examined the wires. There were 3 wires which i knew were ground, low beam, and high beam. There was an orange wire, red with yellow stripe and red with blue stripe. I figured the orange was ground. I originally had a problem with my high beams but now low beams and I noticed that the red with blue stripe wire was coming out of the socket and looked like that was where the problem started so i figured that was the high beams wire. Does this not sound correct? The lights work fine switching between low beams and high beams

It is was me, I would start over and use the other side of the car as a guide for which wire goes where. You might need a simple multi meter too.

Tried referring to the other side but the wire connector i bought was aftermarket and looked a little diferent and just had labeled wires. Ill see if someone will lend me a multi meter and update you after i test it out.
