Heater Core Flush

When I first got my car the heat was almost non existent. After thermostat, radiator hose, radiator cap and coolant flush (among other work) it has approved but it is still only warm from low to med (with temp turned up all the way). If you turn the fan on hi it gets almost cool. I looked online and many say that it is a heater core clog and to test the temp of both heater hoses to see if one is cooler than the other and if so possible clog. Has anyone had similiar problems or flushed their heater core?
