Headlights

I just replaced my HD bulb on driver's side approximately 60 days ago, it's out already! Any suggestions as to why it blew so fast? Those are not cheap to keep replacing!

thanks
Kristin

Hi Kristin, Couple of questions: (1) Which car do you have?. (2) Have you switched the bulb, to the other headlight, to make certain it's the bulb that failed?

Let me clarify, I now understand that you ":only replaced the bulb that was out ". My suggestion, is that you remove the bulb that is out, and install it in the headlight that is working. You will do this, to insure that, it is indeed the bulb which is bad. If the bulb works in the opposite headlight, than your problem is elsewhere, and not a bad bulb. If the bulb does not work in the opposite headlight, than just replace the bulb. Please let us know the result of the bulb exchange. Again, if the bulb is not the issue, perhaps we can recommend further diagnostics. Thanks
