Headlight Issue

Alright!

My passenger headlight is out. I bought a replacement ballast and nothing! Took my 3 hours to try everything. I'm not sure of anything else. I've switched the drivers side to the right and it doesnt work. Switched the passenger to the drivers and it works.

Now I'm thinking it probably has something that has to do with the grounding.

There is a grounding behind the passenger headlight right behind the high beam and it looks like theres 5-6 wires that go to that one bolt to get grounded. As I look closer, only about 2 are connected and the others have rusted off. Is there a replacement I could buy?

I've been warned too many times by cops and dont need a ticket.

Any info would be appreciated.

Not to insult you but did you start simple? I mean did you check fuses etc?

If so you might have found your own problem with the rust on the ground issue.

there is a complete service manual at pdftown.com i think and you can check the wiring diagrams.
