I can't speak to an older vehicles as I've always applied ZAINO from "day one" as a brand new spanking car.....its NEVER seen a car wash of any kind....Hand washed and waxed exclusively with Zaino since day one....Also instruct the dealerships NEVER to wash my vehicles. Infact my 2007 MDX was shipped plastic wrapped from the factory....I mean business when it comes to my vehicles.....

I've tried the Z leather cleaner....its OK....I still stand by LEXOL....I like an application that says "spray and wipe"........those that say wipe on....let dry then buff out .....just too much work for me at my age......so Lexol in the baby blue bottle is GUD......Z leather cleaning has a nice FAKE leather smell to it...Like I said "new vs. used" I can't comment on....If the interior has been neglected then get the "Lexol Cleaner" then the maintenance application...My seats are not dirty nor have they ever been dirty where it requires "Cleaner application"......hope this helps! Otherwise my fav Z's are:
Z6, Z7, Z5 and Grand Finale....Mequires tires stuff is also the best I've used...noting worse than dull tires with a clean vehicle....Like having a clean gold ring with a dirty diamond......nothings worse than that.....

Wow.....for someone (me) who doesn't fequent this site much sure got alot of hits on this thread (799) to be exact......lots of peeps huh for an OLD TIMER......
Met a guy from Sacramento this past weekend. He's a honda gear head....so I took him to my garage and showed him the RL......his jaw dropped....he said it looked "brand spanking new".....when I told him the mileage he was speechless he said you should sell it....I said why? Its paid for 6 months after I bought it almost 7 years ago...he couldn't get over the fact it had just turned 7 years old..... Then he looked at my 2007 Acura MDX Sport/Ent and said you got the best of both worlds......I said you want to see my 2007 RDX? He said you are all set......

No I have not had a chance yet, but I did claybar the whole car, really came up nice, paint looks brighter and removed small rust particles that get into paint especially on white, really happy with results.

Where did you get get the Zaino at? I'm still shopping around for the best price. Is it easy to put on and remove because Blackfire was really easy to remove.

Easy to put on and easy to wipe off.....Zaino is NOT sold in your local shops, walmarts etc.....only at the Zaino shop at www.zainobros.com

The dent man came today and found several "dings" on my RL, like four so I had to add another coat of Zaino including a newer product I forgot I had...It was hard to wipe off however. I had to use Z6 to remove it. I prefer the original product lines...and you can use any Zaino product you want....so yesterday was garage tunes and cold beer which brings it to 56 coats of ZAINO

Thanks to Tim for shipping quickly AC filters for my 3 Acura's. Today I was able to accomplish all three on my lunch break and condition each one with Wurth AC Conditioner. However the RL was a pain in the rear compared to the 07 MDX and RDX....

Old Hatch: remember WAX's main purpose is PROTECTION not just looks....If I can ride 3.0 miles per day on my bike for exercise to satisfy the doctor, hand wash and wax my vehicles at my age (51) you have no excuse....

ParaSurfer1979: Let it cool down a bit so I can wash & wax her. We were 96 degrees yesterday between 3-7 p.m. Not so cool in the mornings either. We are having August weather/temps in September while East coasters are posting temps in the 40's in the mornings.....Maybe Tahoe is having those temps but surely not us....I'm too old to wash/wax in these temps.... They claim its our "last" heat wave.....This Friday coming is officially the first day of FALL....GOODBYE summa....

Talking

I finally broke down after 7 years and brought my baby (RL) to my dealership to perform the following:
Brake Fluid flush and inspection
Radiator Fluid flush
Tire Rotate and Balance
They will determine if the Transmission fluid needs changing or not

They put me in a Black/Ebony/Navi 2012 TL with 406 miles on the ODO...

First observations was Torque steer upon WOT entering the freeway. Also the ride is not nearly as smooth as my RL or MDX otherwise a nice vehicle. It is only front wheel drive also...I'm sure the SH-AWD model drives better and no torque steer...

they couldn't get over how clean the RL is.....when they saw the mileage their jaw dropped...LOL....waiting for the call to come get her back home....

Total damage was $442.55
no need to change transmission fluid
No mention or pressure to change timing belt based on their draw dropped expression when they looked at the car, interior, engine bay, undercarriage and mileage YTD....they were cracked! They said it was cleaner than some of the new vehicles...LOL They gave me a brand new TL with under 400 miles on the ODO....nice ride....it was ready by the mid afternoon as they didn't want the vehicle in their possession...I was in total agreement too!

Yes I do...I got large cats that roam....and often end up on the hood to rest...also it can be very windy here thus coating the RL with dust quickly esp. with all the illegals cutting lawns and blowing shit everywhere at all hours of the day, evening and morning.....when I say this RL is SPOTLESS ..... I mean just that.....
