I've recently found a problem with my RL-it could be the battery but I'd like to know if anyone else has gone through the same. When starting the vehicle it seems that the battery is in need of changing but I cant "recharge" the battery with a nice long highway drive-It cranks real slow and the lights in the dash flicker crazily. Has anyone gone through the same??? I'm going to change the battery anyway today so I guess I'll find out sooner or laer...

 

Sounds like your alternator is bad. Most auto parts stores can test it in the car for you.

 

I just want to let everyone know the battery was the problem and it has been
replaced. Alternator is A OK!

 

It's nice when something as simple as replacing the battery fixes a problem.

 

OEM batteries and tires. They NEVER last as long as they should. I'm convinced they are spec'd different for the manufacturer to reduce cost.

 

also try the main relay...well known problems in RL's
