Cool diag code p0183 - fuel temperature sensor high voltage

Had a check engine light come & stay on and AutoZone checked and found p0183 - they recommended a fuel system cleaner (after a full fill up) to see if that fixes the problem. If it does not, does anyone have any ideas what I should check for and ALSO is this condition harmful to my ENGINE ? Right now it still runs great and no problems (other than check engine light). BTW - I did try disconnect & connecting the battery for 20 mins and the light came back on after a few seconds. I'll do this again after using up the full tank (with the cleaner). Thanks in advance for anyone's expertise & advice !
