Car not starting/stopping sometimes while driving
I have a 92 Acura Integra LS Manual Transmission and it seems to only happen when it is hot outside but my car sometimes will not start or even if I get it started it will occassionally stop while I am driving it and then sometimes not restart for up to twenty minutes. I have tried replacing the ignitor/distributor and cap and the main relay and the problem still exists. Would this be a computer issue or wireing or fuel pump or??? I have been told that it is unlikely that it would be the computer but I don't know where to start and what is most likely the problem!? When the car will start I can hear the fuel pump engage (I think that is what that sound is) and I don't hear that sound when it will not start. But again this seems to be directly affected by the outside tempature or atleast how hot the car is (if it has been driven for a long time.) Anyone ever have this problem before or have any advice or guidance? I thank you in advance for anyone that takes the time to write me back!!!! Thanks!!

Hello and welcome to AZ! Unfortunately, we don't have a specific Integra section. The best place for you to post your query is in Car Talk--click.
Even so, it already looks like you've gotten some good advice.
