Buying an RL

I was just wondering if this is a good deal, 2002 RL w/ 75k miles AUTO for $9,000? Is there any problems with the RL that i should be concerned about? Thanks for any advice/help.

Thats a good deal.. make sure the car has a coolant flush, transmission/diff fluid change.

Beware that a timing belt is coming up in the next 25,000 miles too. That can be anywhere from $600 to $1000 on these cars.

I have a 2002 RL, so feel free to ask specific questions

The RL is a very solid car. My 96 got to 251k before the main engine seal went. It went to the crusher with the original transmission....

Transmission is rock solid. Just do the fluid changes as recommended in the owner's manual.

There aren't any major problems with these cars. The only thing I can think of is goofy window switches, Acura fixed this issue.

it is a very good deal. but then again, make sure to know which parts are broken, or need to be replaced soon.

a lot of little maintenance can add up. I.E., tires, brake pads, rotors, fluid changes, water pump, belts...etc.

a lot of sellers sell there cars to avoid doing the following listed above to save money.

btw good luck on your purchase, take your time and never make any desperate decisions. remember, there are tons of RL's out there.
