blowed engine

when a head gasket blows at 150000 miles what would make that happen dos that come under any service recalls or any thing

also who know how much would the compression fall after 150000
my book says it should be 144 new would it stay like that high that long

Head gasket failure

Usually overheating is the culprit. It's a gasket and they do fail. Compression is about seal...worn parts create less seal.

do you think it would be worth to rebuild if it overheated
or get a engine

headgasket....overhearting is usually the coulprit.

150k is way past warranty. if your rings are good you should probably be higher at 150k from deposits.

get an engine with low miles n warranty
