adding CD changer to '96 RL
Gang -
My wife would like to add a CD changer to her (non-Nav) '96 RL. I'm trying to locate one on ebay, etc. which has the necessary mounting brackets.
Do you know if cars shipped without the CD have the necessary 8-pin DIN cable already installed or would I have to add that? I took a quick look in the trunk but didn't see it. Someplace else I read that it might be more towards the center of the trunk than I expected. I was looking close to where the CD changer lives.
Any tips on this installation would be appreciated.
Thanks.
Bob

If I remember correctly some of the RLs of your era had the CD changer in the center console, underneath the armrest.
