HELP, I have a 1996 Acura RL. The check engine light is on. I have replaced the EGR , and PCV valves, Cleaned the intake manifold, replaced the spark plugs, Fuel filter, and #2&6 coil packs. All codes have been cleared, but still runs rough, and when at highway speed the check engine light blinks until I accelerate or let up on the gas. Have run injector cleaner through it. It will stop for a little while, and then do it again with a misfire on #2. Do I need to replace the #2 injector? Or any other suggestions. I need to pass my emissions test ASAP.

Well, you certainly did provide a lot of information. So probably anyone who wold be able to really help you out with this one would have to be an experienced mechanic. But, just maybe, you have a bad O2 sensor giving a false reading and then the car's computer is trying to compensate for it. Ergo ipso facto colombo oreo it misfires.

Driving a car with a blinking Check Engine Light is a very bad idea. If you're lucky you'll only destroy the catalytic converter...but that's plenty expensive. What code(s) are being set?
