96 RL IAB Issue or not?

During a freak windstorm the trio of IAB's mounted behind intake manifold took a spill off my workbench. A cap broke off the engine mount control solenoid valve and although it seems to stay put after slipping it back on...do I need to replace or is it no big deal?

Wow, not much reaction out there to this question? OK, I'll post the answer in a day or two.

Here is the scoop. The trio of solenoids at the back are just filters. If the cap goes back on (and stays) all is good....nothing to worry about.

After putting everything back together and firing it up I can safely say I haven't noticed a problem stemming from the broken cap. I did hear it kicking on and off but no performance issues.

well Ill take a shot at it, I am not as mechanically inclined as most people but if it's in your vehicle then it might serve a purpose. I wouldn't risk that it might do something and have something creep up over time.
Another thing is how good condition is your car and do you plan on keeping it long term? maybe if it's getting to the area where problems are creeping up, too many miles, or just don't care about it anymore then I wouldn't worry about that part.

Hey Ellover, thanks for posting. My stepson and his good friend both concurred. They have 12 years between them as Honda/Acura techs at the local dealership.
