A friend of mine is selling a 300zx twin turbo engine and I want to swap it with my stock 3.5rl engine. Does anyone know if this is possible? I know 300z's are wide cars but the engine is only 3.0 litres compared to my 3.5 . Any help is appreciated thanks.

Do a search for a set of dohc heads from an nsx, change the timing belt and bal shaft belt, and weeee extra 70 horse

it is a little more detailed that that...but no more than swaping a b18 into a civic

Anything is possible if you can either a) fab everything yourself( mounts braces ect) or b) have enough money.

DW: The RL is front wheel drive, your buddy has a RWD car. Unless you plan on making the first RWD Acura Legend, I suggest using a different engine. Your best bet is to use the Acura Legend C32A5 heads, combine them with your 3.5 block and a Legend ECU

Gummi: The NSX engine is completely incompatible, the heads are not going to match the block at all.

For the amount of money of doing the swap even with a free engine you would spend lots less making your RL single turbo.
