Are these adhesive/ glue wood kits any good? I would prefer to keep the oem wood and possibly add wood to the speedometer area and possibly a few other areas? I am also looking to chrome out my exhaust tips. Any suggestions?

 

The kits I have seen are usually kinda rubbery looking. If you want it to match the center stack I dont think your going to find anything off the shelf. I had tried before with some companies and even a member here trying to match samples and none were a close match. (I have the orangish burlwood)


I would stay away from the cheap ones if you could.

You can always go custom. Its going to cost you though.

 

I've seen some terrible examples of aftermarket fake wood grain.

 

I would leave it the way it is. Those aftermarket woods look like plastic GM materials. It would be hot if you could find some aluminum or carbon fiber.
