2000 RL with multiple instrument lights on

I have the ABS, VSA and the yellow triangle with the exclamation in the center on. Have any body had this condition? It sometimes go off after I shut off the car but then they come back on after driving for a little bit. Any information would be greatly appreciated.

When I used to have BMW's this meant speed sensor. Luckily I haven't had this happen in the RL. I would assume its either a speed sensor or the abs module.

Does your car make faint clicking noises from the front passenger side of the car while braking or just after startup? I had those same lights and my car makes that noise, albeit infrequently. These lights come on on occasion, accompanied by the sound.

The ABS thing, try hitting the side of the passenger door, the plastic area right below the window or the leather below it. Whenever the light comes on for me i just hit this fairly strongly, but not a full out punch, and the light goes out a couple seconds later.

im pretty sure its the speed sensor as well. if turns off and on, it might mean that the wires for the speed sensor are loose or not connecting very well meaning theres a slice in teh wires.

It does make a ticking/rattling noise when I step on the brake. The noise is very faint though and I don't know exactly if it comes from the passenger side or the driver side.

If any of the wheel speed sensors are malfunctioning, it will turn off the VSA and ABS systems. Take it to any decent shop and have them look for a VSS (vehicle speed sensor) that isnt hooked up or malfunctioning.

I'll try to find a shop since I do most of my repairs. Thanks for the advice.

I took my car to the Acura dealer and found out that it was the rear driver side speed sensor. Lucky for me that the tech did not charge me for checking it. I ordered the sensor and will post again after I install it.

I will try to post pics. It tried to take the sensor out but the mating surface where it goes inside the bearing housing was corroded and fused itself to the housing. I tried punching it out but it does not want to come out. I will have to take it to a shop to see if we can drill it out without messing the mounting hole in the housing.

Sorry for the delay and no pics. I had to take it to a shop because the sensor was fused with the hub. They mechanic had to use an impact chisel to take it out and then we had to smooth out the hole for the new sensor.
