Hi group
My rl has an issue with starting when warm it cranks but won't start sometimes until the throttle is held wide open. I have put in new injectors n the fuel pressure vacuum switch on the fuel rail but this has not fixed the issue. I say the mixture is rich as lots of black smoke smelling of gas comes out the exhaust
It's a 2000 with about 250000 mls
the car will start with a wide open throttle but cranks for a bit
First thing in the morning starts fine driving around stopping n starting with a warm engine gives the problem. Has anyone experienced this at all

There's a tech bulletin on this to check the coolant temp sensor.

 

Thanks C25 It was the coolant temp sensor gotr one from pep boyz and it corrected the problem
