hey guys im new to this side of the forum im about to pick up a 2004 rl w/ navi the color is kind of bluish gray. The only concern i have is the mileage for a 2004 it has more then 200,000 miles is there anything i should know before i pick this car up? transmission problems anything? TIA

 

Thats a lot of miles however out of all the Acuras, the RL is the one that will show them the least.

The transmission is very reliable and is a completely different 'family' compared to the problematic ones Honda made.

As long as the fluids, belts and CV boots all look good I don't see why it would be problematic. Our '97 TL has nearly 200,000 and drives like it should. Similar engine and identical transmission as the '04 RL.

As long as it's maintained properly, I wouldn't worry too much about mileage. Like Ken, I also have an older TL (1996) with 253K on it...

Hope you aren't paying too much for it though with those miles...
