Replace TPMS kit when change tires?

Replace TPMS kit when change tires?

Discount tire.com recommends changing the TPMS kit when changing tires. They're $5 each.
I can see why you might change it if you drive in snow and salt. You might get corrosion.
But if you drive moslty dry and city highways, I don't see why they would need replacing. I visualy checked my valve stems and they look fine inside, no corrosion.
Has anyone had any experiences with that?

Unless you are experiencing a leak or swapping your sensors to new wheels, it isn't really necessary.
