Rear shock bolts frozen

Both lower bolts on my rear shocks are frozen into the holes. I have replaced the shocks before so the bolts have been out before. I used everything except heat to get them out. Electric and pneumatic impacts. Never budged. What the heck? Any help?

I would suspect you have tried some WD-40 but I know many a mechanic that say Blaster is significantly better. Liquid Wrench is often mentioned as well. Blaster is about $6 at Advance. Blaster Keep in mind these products work best when the bolted joint is allowed to soak for a period of time.

As I think about it the attached picture resembles the lower bolt. Can you even get access to the threaded portion?

Remember the threaded nut is welded/affixed to the control arm on the other side.
Yes that’s basically what the bolt looks like.
this isn’t like it has never been removed and it’s in there from 160k miles of Michigan roads. I think I changed them last time 8 years ago, about 50k miles.

Again, can you get access to the threaded end to properly apply Blaster, WD-40 or whatever?
