Rear shelf access hole for adjusting shocks

Anybody made a hole in the in the rear shelf so you gain access to the top of the shocks to adjust them ? Is there anything to be concerned about doing this aside from the aesthetics of having a hole there? I have the Koni Yellows.

If aesthetics be damned, go for it. Post pics after you do it. I gotta see this

here was my install a few weeks ago on a set of BC coilovers...i was always hesitant but the ability to have dampening easily accessible was worth it. so far i love it and no one has noticed them yet!

steps:
- drill hole (i used a dremel since i did it in place)
- sand edges of hole using dremel
- place adjuster in coilover and lock with set screw using purple threadlocker
- verify adjuster turns coilover adjustment
- add foam strip around edge of new hole
- vacuum debris
- replace seats!

I did mine years ago. Actually cut out a section so the seats don't have to be removed if changing out suspension. Believe there's a pic in my thread.
