Tire Pressure Indicators

have a non navi 2007 RDX. in the last couple of days with the temperature dropping below freezing, the low pressure warning indicator has come on showing 3 (!) of my tires have low pressure. If this is because of cold weather then if i park in a warm parking garage they should go off when the temperature is higher and the pressure increases, right? I never had any problems last winter when the temperature dropped. Anyone else had problems? any advice on what to do? (obviously putting more air in the tires is a solution).

i did have a legitimate flat due to a nail in the tire a year ago and it worked perfectly for that purpose.

I got this when I first moved from California back to the north (Canada). Also seeing this issue with my rear right tire as well. Planning to pump it up again and see. If it still shows in a week or so, then it's probably a slow leak.

Tires don't magically keep air, over time you will loose some air, 1~3lbs is normal. Basically when it's starting to get cold out always check your tire pressures every month or so before heading out.

I just bought an 09 (no tech) RDX two days ago and my pressure sensor went off this morning (front r tire). I didn't see anything wrong with it...hopefully it's not a leak.

Mine's on it's way to the dealership for a TPMS error yet again. The first time around it just threw the warning out there at me, but didn't specify exactly what was wrong with it. Dealership had to pull codes (or whatever it is they had to do) to find out that the LF sensor in the fenderwell was bad. Now it's going back in with the same type of issue so I'm curious to see what's wrong with it this time. I'll try and get some more information out of them to see if this is a common issue with the RDX.

As a general rule, the colder it gets, the more PSI ur tire will drop. Always check on them especially on cold mornings, or when the weather may dramatically change over nite, you never know what the tires will be in the morning.

Especially for the winter, if ur tires are 32 since the summer, but have now fallen to 29 or so, u need to put air in and bring them back to cold 32.
