anyone have any tips on recording in car noises....i tried the mic on both my blackberry and an mp3 player, i cant get it clear....my car just makes so many f'ing noises before i drop it at the dealer i want thsi stuff recorded

3 main issues i have, and now they are ISSUES -

1. everytime the car shifts weight, be on a hill, accel/decel etc, the passenger side of the car creaks loudly, almost like the frame is creaking, you can hear it over the stereo, and everyone in the car is like wtf is that. i thought the dealer had taken care of this prob, they had realigned teh doors on the strikers, it seemed to help, but it was in fact never really GONE, so i dont think that was the problem

2. constant rattling underneat the glove box, i dont know what it is, my first guess is maybe a fan or blower or something that has broke in its housing, i dont know but it sounds as if something metal clanging/pinging constantly

3. My rear hatch sounds like its gonna fall off...again, when the car shifts weight, or im in reverse, over bumps, the hath just sounds horrible, like the rear end of the car wants to detach.

 

MMIke - When the dealer goes to test drive the car they're not hearing these things? I take it they're happening randomly and that's why you want to record them? Based on your description it sounds like it happens all the time so I would do a test drive with a service person in the car and show them what you're talking about.

 

Mike, you might be havin the asme issues I'm having...God forbid.
Rear - Seat mite need to be re-adjusted on the frame.
Dude, it would be a Welding Harness problem.
