"Thunk" sound coming from front when hitting bumps
I've recently noticed a "thunk" sound in the front when hitting a bump hard enough at a fast enough speed; it almost seems as if the shocks are bottoming out and slamming into the bump stops, but I doubt that as the distance compressed by the shocks can't be that much based on the bump in the road.
Anyone heard/felt something similar or have any ideas as to what may be happening?
PS--it's a loud and harsh enough thunk to make the dash shutter some

I don't think it's that though because it only happens when hitting really big bumps. I don't really think it's shock-related, but it just sounded like it could be. I'm not sure what it is at this point though, and I don't know if I would be able to reproduce it to show the dealer what's happening, so I don't think taking it to the dealer will help much
Right rear shock failed at 6K miles! Dealer says never saw that before!
AND left TPMS are busted and just today, 10/19, the coffee holder busted. Beginning to think that 65% USofA content is the problem. NEVER had any issues with ANY honda product before (all Hondas. This is our first Acura. Beginning to wish we traded our 02 CRV for a new CRV).
