Serious question

Has anyone figured out how to keep the rear end somewhat clean in rainy weather? I think it needs an air deflector at the top of the lift gate.
And that stupid rear washer that just pees on the glass, smh.

Talking Car Wash

Go to the car wash once a month, good for the prevention of rust on the undercarriage as well.

Y'all may think it's dumb but in the old days they used to make optional deflectors that would take the air from the roofline and redirect the air to come down the back that would keep the back fairly clean. I live in Washington and it rains/snows, a lot. Running it thru a carwash is good for a block or two. Much further and the backup camera is covered and the rear window needs cleaning again. I guess I will have to put on the Mickey Mouse ears and stick a Yakima fairing on. I've already ordered what I need to move the washer nozzle to the wiper arm.
Yeah, I know, first world problems.

I'd like to see what you do with that- agree the rear washer jet is lame. On mine I don't get any cleaning in the bottom half of the arc.

I keep a bottle of windex and paper towels in the hatch in winter months. The rear wiper on my 08 RDX work A-ok if the window is wet. I have to wipe down the rear camera every once in a while if the image is too blurry. I would look into window treatments like RainX treatments to ceramic coating on rear glass with hydrophobic properties.

Yeah, I began stopping at the mailbox and wiping the mud off the window and backup camera before backing into the garage.
Today I ordered this to modify to fit. Heat gun, saw, whatever it takes.

I added a Gurney flap and it cut down the mud by about 90%.
