Replacing tires/rims
Hi, I recently hit a curb pretty hard, and the front left tire completely blew out, and there were some scratches on the rim as well. I know I'm gonna have to replace the tire for sure, but I'm not too sure about the rim. I've been told by several people that the rims can be simply sanded or filed down? Does anyone know how much its going to cost to replace the RDX rims and tires? I believe its going to cost me about $300+? Any input would be greatly appreciated!

The Michelin MXM4 will cost about $170 and you may have to shave it to match the circumference of the others, so you don't stress the AWD system. The Acura wheel is probably about $400, however there are places that use CNC machinery to true a bent rim now.
Wheel Collision Center in Allentown PA can true a bent rim and re-finish it to look brand new, for about 1/3 the price of a new Acura rim. You can ship to them and they turn around in about 10 days.
There are probably places close to where you live as well.
