Problem with my dash

When I was getting out of my car this morning, I noticed a problem with my dash, where it meets the windshield. On the passenger side it has a big sag, with white insulation coming up next to the glass. It appears to be pulling away from the windshield as I can see the black foam tape between the dash & the whole length of the windshield.

Before I bring it to the dealer, has anyone had a similar problem?

With 4500 miles, this is my 3rd problem with this car. 1st I had paint peeling in the rear, next to the taillights, then the dead battery.

Definitely a problem that needs some attention, take it in before it gets any worse!

I agree, I would take it in right away. It is a shame that you have had so many problems with your car. You paid too much for this vehicle to let something like that just get worse. Let us know what they do.

Just got it back today. They had to replace the dash. So far, no rattles.

After driving a TSX loaner for the past week, I now miss the smoother, quieter ride of the TSX.

+1 on the TSX Although I love the RDX, I really thoroughly enjoy driving my TSX. I was torn between the RDX and the TSX, but I am glad I went with the TSX. My Mom, however, is looking at the RDX now. That would give me the best of both worlds when I stop by her house from time to time

I actually took a close look at the dash. I also can see the black foam between the windshield and the dash. But it seems they are tightly fit. Should we see the foam? I can barely insert my finger into the gap on the passenger side, but not driver side. I believe this is not normal. Actually I can here some rattling noise coming from the passenger side between the dash and windshield but not always. I cannot hear anything when the car just started, no matter how bumpy the road is. But after the engine gets warm, I can hear it mostly around 30 no matter flat or bumpy road. I am thinking to bring the car back to the dealer, but I give up after the thought of taking the dash apart. So any suggestions here? Thanks.
