Please Help 2012 RDX immediately shuts down - Acura techs can't figure it out
Hi guys - I'm pretty frustrated right now. I bought a used 2012 RDX about 9 months ago from an Infiniti dealer. The vehicle had a clean Carfax and was regularly maintained. It has operated perfectly since I've had it until this past Sunday morning.
When I go to start it up, everything is fine but less than a second after it starts the engine cuts off completely. I checked the computer and got codes P0113 "Intake Air Temperature Circuit High Input" and P0102 "Mass Airflow Circuit Low Input". I don't know much about cars, but my father thought it might need a new MAD sensor, so I bought one and replaced but didn't fix the issue.
Today I brought it to the Acura dealer and as of right now, they say they can't figure it out.
I owe a lot of money on this car still and I'm worried I'll end up paying a car note with no working car.
Anyone have ANY idea what this could be? Please help if you!
Thanks in advance

How's the wire harness going to those sensors . They could be cut somehow

This happened to me in my wife's old Cavalier and it was her passlock. She would start it, and it would idle for maybe a second, then just shut off. But, this is not a GM car...I'm stumped. Maybe your fuel pump?

Either that or check your battery cables to see if there's any corrosion on them.

So I just got the car back today, and the Acura dealership was not able to determine what the issue was. After resorting to just wiggling the electrical harness and fuse box it now works fine. They left it in the rain yesterday to see if the problem would come back, checking to see if water might effect the electrical but it didn't come back.
So for now, I guess I have a potentially unreliable car. An expensive one.
One thing I'm thinking is... maybe I had fixed the problem with the mass airflow sensor and for whatever reason it just took ahwile to start working? Who knows.

If wiggling the fuse box and harness worked, there's probably a loose electrical connection somewhere, and it's likely to come back at some point. If anything I'd try wiggling it again to see if you can bring the problem back - at least then you will have isolated the issue and can dig deeper.
