pin code for navigation
I have a problem activating the navi/back up camera etc. it asks for pin, the problem is that the car is located overseas and there is no acura certified dealer to solve my problem. is there any way to reset the existing pin and put in the new one?
any help is deeply appreciated!

If you purchased the car new you should have the code in your documentation. However, mine was used and it wasn't included in any paperwork that I could find. Good thing is that most dealers are lazy and post the codes in the car.
Mine reset when I just got it while I was in the garage playing with all the settings for about 15 to 20 minutes. The battery got too low, but after having it off for a couple minutes I was able to get enough juice to start the car. Lesson learned.
Anyway, once it started the navigation was asking me for a four digit PIN. My dad works for car dealership and the first thing he said was to look to the glove compartment. Sure enough it was there as well as the radio code. What you have to do is open the glove compartment and look on the outer wall closest to the drivers side. The stickers aren't inside the glove compartment, but stuck to the outside and can only be seen with it open. There should be a couple stickers and one has two codes, one is long and one it four digits. The four digit code was my navigation PIN.

Interesting...
Either it's in the glove compartment, with the manuals, or you will have to be there in person to obtain this code. You are overseas, and you will not be able to obtain this code, unless you bring registration/ID to the dealer to prove that you own this vehicle.

To confirm, there's a difference between your radio code, your navi code, and your navi PIN. It sounds like from the language above we're talking about the actual code that you have to enter when to use the navi after power is cut, but just to be sure, the PIN is something you as the owner set to prevent anyone else from accessing personal info. Highly recommended if you program your home address, for instance. Don't want someone stealing your car and just "going home". If you're trying to reset that, you'll either need the PIN from the previous owner or have it reset at a dealership (which is what I had to do). If you're not near a dealer...you may be SOL.
