Ooops

So went out to my car in the garage and noticed the garage door wasn't fully shut. Walked to the front of the car and noticed it was parked to close to the door and it was against the front bumper. Backed the car up, opened the door. Went back to the front of the car and FUK, two nice cuts in the bumper from the centre garage door hinge. Dropped a few F bombs and knew there was nothing I could do about it.
So I am going to get it fixed and repainted, and am trying to decide if I should do the beak. I haven't seen an RDX with it done yet. Has anyone here seen it done?

Second time I have done it this month. First time it just rubbed it, no damage, today, different story! Was pretty pissed off. Its an expense I didn't need. I bought wheels, tires, and Hondata over the past 2 weeks, so this is extra money I didn't want to spend.

we had this happen to our rdx too. What an expensive lesson learned.

Adjust your garage door opener sensors's height to the farthest point on the vehicle.

I've came close to doing this on my TSX and RDX more times I can count. I purchased a garage stop sign sensor for about $15-$20 that sits on the floor. When you bump the sign, it lights up and you know your parked in the perfect spot to close the door.

I tried floor stops or things hanging from the ceiling. Every car is different and those stops did not work all the time for different types of cars (different wheel base, hood lengths, longer back ends, etc..).
