The oil life on my 2800 mile 2011 RDX/Tech is reading 60%, does that sound right?

I usually get notification on my M.I.D. on both the TSX and RDX to change my oil at 5,000 mile intervals. 60% at 2800 miles looks right (depends on your driving conditions). The M.I.D. will start to notify you at 15% every time you start the car until you reset and change your oil.

I’ve gone as far as 800 miles over the M.I.D. warning to change my oil (I was out of state on vacation). The M.I.D. will just show you in negative numbers how many miles you are overdue for an oil change. I figure Mobil one can handle a few miles extra, so it wasn’t a big deal to me to be overdue.

sounds about right. my first oil change came around 5000 miles and then 2nd one is about to come up. my oil life (last i checked) was 40% and ive travelled 3300+ miles...

Maybe I did the math backwards, but 2800mi @ 60% would put oil change at 7500mi (if MID algorithms stay the same).
