Memory Seat Problem

Memory Seat Problem
Wondering if anybody has experienced their memory seat buttons not working at all? Just noticed the other week my 2011 RDX memory seat buttons don't respond or light up when pressed or when unlocking the car.
I've tried everything I can think of from unlinking/linking the remotes and pressing diff combination of the memory seat buttons but nothing. Maybe I'm missing something but if I can save a trip to the dealer all the better... Thanks.

^Happening right now in the TL. Will take it to the dealer and give you a report.

Do you mean pressing the set button and saving to Driver 1 or 2? The set button won't respond at all.... don't think I've lost battery power as the radio hasn't asked for the code.

Wife doesn't want to take the TL in until after Christmas, so I will not have a quick answer on our issue.

very common with the rdx, tl and mdx. Problem is the mirror acutator. My tl was doing it and i replaced the mirror actuator on the passenger side and problem fixed. Since the circuit is all linked, when you unlock your door it usually adjusts your mirrors and seats together. Try using the curb assist on each side, usally what will happen is the mirror won't return to the position its supposed to be at. P.s I work for an Acura dealer, see this all the time

I have the same issue with my 3g TL. Would it also be related to the mirror actuator? Pretty sure my mirrors work correctly.

Would this also be the fix for a 2003 cls 6sp nonnav,
That the memory seats don't work but the power seat does

2011 RDX having problem as well but just with the MEM buttons and positions not responding. Both mirrors respond just fine in all directions and reverse tilt-down and I've tested as much of the other electronics I can think of and everything else is working fine, just the MEM related things don't work. Anyone have any thoughts/suggestions on this?

This is easy to fix.
There's a good chance it's your mirror actuators. The easy test is to switch your mirror to L or R. Then put the car in reverse. Does the mirror you selected move? Take the car out of reverse. Did it move back to where it was before?
If it didn't move, you need to clean the guts of your mirror actuator. There are a few videos on YouTube covering this.
Hondas have the same problem. So search YouTube about it.

The mirrors appear to be working normally, by the way.
