Finding water on my passenger side floor mat after rain. Had sunroof drains checked, found nothing. Anyone else had any issues or resolves?

I had a problem with water coming into the drivers side floor through the dash of my 2009 Acura TL a few years back after a torrential rain storm. Ended up being leaves that had collected under the hood by the wipers clogging the drains there. Caused my car alarm to go off randomly amongst other false electrical problems caused by the water coming in through the dash. Also lost power steering 😭. Cleared the alarm problem by performing an "alarm reset" (thanks to a tip from another acurazine member: took the "key" portion of my fob, inserted into drivers door lock, unlocked, locked, unlocked then started the car. Problem fixed!). Solution to drying up the rain: All windows up. I let car run in the driveway with heat on full blast for 5 hours! Car dried out and power steering restored! Checking these drains is now part of my regular maintenence. Haven't had an issue since! Now if I could just figure out how to clear the power steering code warning message....

I didn't know that this area could cause leaks, but I always regularly open the hood and clear any debris or leaves. This is good to know.
