Intermittent AC and Airbag System Warning
Intermittent AC and Airbag System Warning
Hey everyone. I'm new to this forum and have searched around a bit but haven't seen anything regarding the issue I am currently facing. I have a 2008 RDX with approximately 46k on the clock.
The issue is this. I am getting an error message telling me to "Check Airbag System" (probably not recalling the exact verbiage but to that effect) and at the same time, my AC is intermittently working. Basically, when the airbag message is displayed, the ac doesn't work. The error was displayed constantly for the last week and I had no ac. This evening, the airbag error went away and the ac started working again...
I recall seeing something regarding a low battery being a cause for the car to throw an airbag error. Would a low battery issue also contribute in some odd way to the ac not working at the same time? Is there a test I can perform? Should I just go get the battery tested?

I had a somewhat similar issue with a Scion xB I used to have... turned out I'd tugged on a wiring harness too hard while running some wires. It was loose and was occasionally giving me warning lights on the dash.
If you're not the original owner, the previous owner may have done something similar.
That's all I've got, hopefully it helps!
