For the first time my headlights suddenly cut out on me while driving last night. It did it twice, for about 5 seconds each time, and happened to both headlights simultaneously. I've always used the "Auto" position since I bought this 2010 RDX AWD Tech 6 months ago. Has anyone else experienced this? Any suggestions on what the problem might be?

 

Were you able to test whether or not they cut out when in the "on" position vs "auto"?

 

Both times when they cut out it was in "Auto". . . which has always worked properly before. I'll try it tonight in "On" to see if that makes any difference.

 

It's worth a try, if only to help determine if there may be something in the switch on your stalk or something elsewhere.

 

Well, it seems to have "fixed" itself. 2 hour drive last night, on auto, and the lights worked perfectly. I'll keep you updated if that changes. Thanks for the comments.
