Grinding noise when turning?

Hello family,

I have recently started having issues with grinding sounds when making both left and right turns. Its pretty loud. I was wondering if anyone else has had or is having this issue. I plan on running by the dealership and asking a couple of questions tommorow. If anyone has a clue please hit me back whenever possible any feedback is good feedback at this point.

Thanks.

Also the weather here has been pretty cold 35-25 daily for the past two weeks. Don't no if this is an effect of that or not I wouldn't think so though.

I took my 2007 RDX to the dealer about one year ago. One of the reasons was that I kept hearing a "grinding" noise shortly after I would start the engine. Mine often occurs as I am sitting there - before I have even put the car into "Drive". Not sure if we're talking about the same "grinding" noise or not.

As expected, the dealer never could hear the problem.

I believe some has attributed it to the climate control system, flaps opening and closing. Still not expected for Acura cars, to have this annoying thing...

ive seen a couple of these complaints. when u first start the car you hear a noise grinding or whatever. try the air mix motor. there is one on both sides (dual climate control). rare, but i seen it.

Same here... I do believe it is connected with the climate control system mechanicals... probably like houses in countries with winter and summer seasons, which expand and contract, making creaking noises during the cold months... so my guess is that this is what is happening here in the RDX, where Acura did not build in the flex allowance in the moving flaps of the climate control mechanicals, causing the irritating noises when the climate control activates...

noisey air mix motor is the probable cause. do you hear it when first start the car or when you change the temp? do it sound like its in the dash... center of dash maybe ?
